Stewart T. Campbell was a career army man. He enlisted in 1935 and remained in the army for over twenty years. He rose to the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 3, fought in both World War II and the Korean War, and was awarded the Bronze Star. In Korea he served on the frontlines with the 7th Infantry Division and fought at the Chosin Reservoir. CWO Campbell personally knew General Patton and was a commanding officer at the base where Elvis Presley was stationed during WWII. He now resides in a small community outside of Boston where he is an American Legion Post Commander and spends time with his children, grandchildren, and his one great-grandchild.
